When doing licensed consumer product design, I dive deep into a client’s content and world. I try to see what the hardcore fans are attracted to, who’s their favorite character, accessory, weapon, or maybe find out the funny terms or inside jokes they’re using in the game. I make the digital into physical. Transforming that digital asset into something functional in the physical world. I either draw them up personally or guide 3D digital sculptors and other artists to make it a reality.
